A Promise To Afghanistan
Established in 2022 to benefit the diverse communities of Afghanistan, Mosaic is
a charity that promotes human rights and advocates for a pluralistic
Afghanistan where the rights of vulnerable populations such as women, children,
and religious and ethnic minorities are protected. Through Mosaic, we aim to create more stable and secure economic opportunities for the Afghanistan people in the UK and Europe, as well as in
Afghanistan and beyond. We encourage their full participation in all aspects of
civil society by promoting integration, inclusion, diversity, and active citizenship.
We also champion the idea of a mosaic and diverse Afghanistan, where women’s
rights to work, education, and fundamental liberties are upheld within the rule of
law.
WHAT IS MOSAIC ?
Mosaic is a charity committed to making a profound difference in the lives of people in conflict-affected countries. Through Mosaic, we enable people to engage with the Afghanistan people and provide assistance in the reconstruction efforts.
Through a broad range of initiatives based on the principles of social justice,
economic self-sufficiency, and human rights, we aim to provide the people of
Afghanistan with access to critical services such as health care, education, and
vocational training. Mosaic also focuses on protecting women and children and
providing them with the required assistance, love, and support, along with
education and resources to create a more just and equitable society.
MOSAIC FOR HUMAN RIGHTS
The human rights situation in Afghanistan is complex and has a long history of
violations and abuses. Although there have been notable improvements over the
years, exploitation is still widespread.
Mosaic advocates for the rights of these victims and ensures that they are
protected. Mosaic also works to protect and empower women and children.
MOSAIC FOR CHILDREN
The security situation in Afghanistan is dire for children. This has serious consequences for Afghanistan
children, leaving them vulnerable to exploitation, poverty, and other forms of
violence.
However, there is hope for the future of Afghanistan and its children. Mosaic
aims to empower and protect them through a combination of proactive
measures. We ensure public services, such as education and health, are
accessible and available to all children.
We also aim to bring targeted aid and development programs that can support education, health, and other
services essential for children’s well-being. Through these interventions, we can
empower and protect the children, ensuring they have a bright future. The organisation is also
committed to protecting children from exploitation and abuse.
Mosaic is committed to the betterment of humanity. Mosaic is for a diverse
society where everyone is equal. Mosaic is for peace, for love, and for harmony;
in Afghanistan and beyond.
MOSAIC FOR WOMEN
Women’s empowerment in Afghanistan is a major topic of discussion. Despite the
progress that has been made in recent years, the country still faces many
challenges regarding empowering women.
Women in Afghanistan have long been neglected and often live without basic
rights and freedoms. However, with the right support and resources, women in
Afghanistan can be empowered and encouraged to take control of their lives and
make a real difference.
To empower women in Afghanistan, they should have equal
access to education and employment opportunities, and their active participation
is needed so that they can gain the skills and confidence they need to become
leaders in their communities and beyond.
Mosaic believes that it is essential to ensure that women are financially
independent and that they have the opportunity to become entrepreneurs. It is
also important to ensure that Afghanistan women have the resources and support
they need.
We advocate for policies and initiatives that support women’s rights, protect
them from abuse and exploitation, and aim to improve the lives of women in the
country, which in turn would have a positive impact on the overall development
of the country.
