February 19th is celebrated as Mother Language Day in Afghanistan. Mosaic Afghanistan, a cultural organization, is likely to be among those honoring this day which aims to promote linguistic and cultural diversity and multilingualism. This day is an opportunity to celebrate the rich cultural heritage of Afghanistan and to recognize the importance of preserving and promoting its many languages and dialects. This is an important day for Afghanistan to come together and celebrate the diversity of their country’s linguistic heritage, and to raise awareness about the importance of language preservation and education.
The purpose of this workshop is to bring together a diverse group of established and emerging scholars, including those who played a role in the creation of the 2004 Constitution of Afghanistan and younger scholars from the Afghanistan diaspora. This event will offer a valuable opportunity for the scholars to exchange ideas and share their research on Afghanistan.
